Hi @LesDan, welcome! 💜

Vrbo full management will be available once Hospitable completes the official Vrbo integration, which is currently in development. This will expand support to include the same level of control you have for Airbnb and Booking.com.

For now, continue managing your Vrbo listing content directly on Vrbo’s website, while using Hospitable for messaging, calendar sync, and automation.

Hi. How do I coordinate VRBO and hospitable messaging so not to duplicate? Can you disable any VRBO messaging?

@eggprop Yes when you have Hospitable, it handles messaging uniformly across all platforms, making the platform-specific messaging templates redundant. You can disable any automated/scheduled/triggered messages on Vrbo and replace them with Hospitable’s messaging.

Thanks for the response. It’s interesting because I don’t see any place in VRBO to disable automated messages, just any templates I’ve set up. I don’t have this issue with AirBNB. We’re pretty new to VRBO. Have had AirBNB since 2022.

@eggprop in Vrbo, go to the Inbox, click Templates, and make sure all your templates are set to “Not Scheduled.” As long as that’s the case, Vrbo will not use any of them. It’s fine to have abandoned templates sitting there in Vrbo. You just won’t be using them going forward. Hospitable will use its own templates to communicate with Vrbo guests the same as it does for Airbnb, etc.

Yes. All templates are turned off. This seems to be automated messages that aren’t templates, but rather VRBO generated forced messages.

@eggprop oh, yeah, Vrbo will still send messages for things such as pre-approving a booking, requesting an interim payment, etc. I’m not sure you can turn those off. I don’t think they’re too redundant with any of the usual messages Hospitable would send.

When Hospitable rolls out its fully-managed Vrbo integration, that could possibly change (not sure).

Yeah. That’s what it seems like. Thanks for the help!
