Trouble adding a new client listing to my hospitable account

Hello, I’m pretty new to Hospitable. I own and co-host in a beach market. I just picked up two new properties from an owner/host. One of the properties has a connection with Wander, A Luxury listing platform. When Wander gets direct bookings then they manage those guests.

I sent the host an invite to connect to my Hospitable account and they received an error message stating there was another PMS.

I will be managing Airbnb and VRBO guests. Is there a way around this? I have tried getting response from Hospitable messages as well but no response yet.

Hi @skpace, welcome to Hospitable! 💜

I see my colleagues from Support have already gotten back to you, so I’ll summarize the response here in case anyone else reading this thread has the same questions.

This limitation is on Airbnb’s side. Airbnb only allows one PMS to be connected to an Airbnb account at a time, and this applies at the account level, not per listing. That means you can’t connect different listings from the same Airbnb account to different PMS platforms simultaneously.

To manage the Airbnb listings in Hospitable, your client would need to disconnect Wander from Airbnb. Having both Wander and Hospitable connected to the same Airbnb account at the same time isn’t supported and can lead to double bookings.

If they’d still like to use Wander (or another platform) alongside Hospitable, the safest option is to connect the second platform via iCal sync instead:

  • Export the iCal link from one platform and import it into the other

  • Repeat the process in the opposite direction to enable two-way syncing

  • Keep in mind that iCal syncing comes with some delay

If Hospitable isn’t connected, listings would need to be managed directly in Airbnb.
