We’ve made some exciting improvements to help guests easily access your property straight from their Guest Portal! You’ll also see more control when managing your owner statements and calendar rulesets. Plus, you can now find Hospitable MCP in the ChatGPT app directory!
Smart Devices
Automatically add smart lock codes to check-in messages 💌
- When you connect a new smart lock account, your primary lock code is now automatically added to the right check-in message
- This makes it less likely to miss sending guests their access code or accidentally rely on a backup code
- If you have multiple custom check-in messages and we cannot tell which one to update, you will see a prompt with a direct link so you can add the code yourself quickly
Smarter guest access in the Guest Portal 🔐
- Your guests can now view their smart lock code in the Guest Portal starting 24 hours before check-in
- During the stay, your guests can lock or unlock the door, request a code reset, and manage access for properties with multiple locks all from the Guest Portal
- Before the code is available, your guests will see a clear Getting Inside section so they know when access details will appear
- For added security, your guests must verify their identity by email or SMS before they can reveal the code or use lock and unlock controls
- After checkout, your guests will no longer see the Getting Inside section in the Guest Portal
Owner Relations
Void reservations from an owner statement 🗑
- You can now void reservation financials directly from your owner statements when a reservation line should not appear
- You’ll also be able to restore reservation financials if you need to reverse a void
- This gives you more control over your owner statements and helps keep them accurate when reservation numbers do not look right
Easier control over property ownership periods 📑
- You can now change when an owner starts or remove an ownership period yourself under Business and Properties tab or from each owner’s page
- View current and upcoming owners in one place, and each owner’s page now shows when they own each property
- Assign a property to an owner more flexibly, including choosing any start day for a property that has never had an owner
- When you move an owner’s start date, fees and statements update automatically, and you’ll get clear guidance or warnings before any unpublished statements are removed
- You’ll be protected from accidental accounting issues since published statements block unsupported changes, and confirmations explain exactly what happens when you remove an ownership period
MCP
Easily connect Hospitable MCP to ChatGPT ✨
- You can now find and install Hospitable directly from the ChatGPT directory
- This means you no longer need developer mode or any manual setup details to get started
Calendar
Switch calendar rulesets in one step 🗓
- You can now replace a calendar ruleset directly on selected dates instead of removing it and applying a new one in separate steps
- You’ll see a new Replace option whenever the selected dates already have a ruleset attached
- View which ruleset is currently applied before making a change so it is easier to choose the right one
- This will help you update pricing and availability rules faster with fewer clicks, especially if you switch rulesets often
Hospitable Tasks
Clearer task acceptance from email 📨
- When teammates accept a task from an assignment email, they’ll now see a clearer confirmation with more helpful task details
- They will no longer accidentally accept the same task multiple times from the same email
