Guest Complaints Regarding ID Verification and Rental Agreement Tasks

I have had pushback from guests, and even a couple of not great reviews related specifically to the ID verification and rental agreement in the Hospitable portal.  

The guests are not sent access details until the tasks are complete, but they say they did not know about the additional requirements ahead of time.  

These are booking through AirBnb and VRBO.  Should I skip the ID and rental agreement tasks on those channels? 

What are other people doing to keep the experience positive with these extra tasks?

I’ve thought about this one - seems taxing to verify Airbnb and VRBO guests since guests probably assume they’ve already done that. Whats the correct process? I don’t know. :)
