I would like to receive text messages from Hospitable when someone books or requests to book my property on VRBO and AirBnB.  I have searched and searched for how to do this and have found nothing helpful.   I checked all my settings on Hospitable and on my Samsung S26 phone.

I chatted with the AI BOT earlier this week, but that was just frustrating and worthless.   Hospitable really needs to have some LIVE personal chat options when the AI Bot cant assist.

@suzanneBB1 I do the same thing. Go to Operations > Task Management. Click the Notifications tab. Click “Add new” and set up a notification for the “New Reservation” event. Be sure to select SMS rather than email. Scope it to the “Manager” role.

Here’s the SMS template I use to text myself each time I get a booking:

%teammate_first_name%: New %platform% booking from %guest_full_name% for %nights% at %property_name%! #%reservation_code% | Check-in: %check_in% | Check-out: %check_out% | Proceeds: ~%payout%

I have myself set up as a Teammate (under Operations > Teammates) and I’ve assigned myself the Manager role. That way I’m the one that gets the notifications.

I do something similar for my owners… I send them a text to brag about each new booking I got them.

Note that inquiries are different than confirmed reservations. You’ll need to set up a separate rule for inquiries if you want to be notified of those too.

You can just ask the bot to connect with an human agent instead and it will do so.
