Hi fellow hosts! I got tired of tracking supplies on spreadsheets and guessing what my cleaners had in stock, so I built STRcomms. It's a simple short-term rental inventory management system to help other hosts eliminate these supply headaches.

To make it easy to try out, I set up two discount codes for the launch:

  • STRSTART25M: Gets you up to 3 properties completely free for your first 2 months ($25 off each month).

  • STRSTART50Y: Takes $50 off an annual plan if you want to lock it in.

Take a look, save yourself some supply stress, and let me know what you think. I am always looking for feedback from other hosts to make it better.

You can check it out at https://strcomms.com.

@KennyM I'll tell you, this is certainly one of the largest headaches in the STR business. And things like subscribe and save when using Amazon are supposed to help it, but half the time your subscription is out or unavailable, so it really defeats the purpose.

Couple that with multiple procurement channels like Walmart or Costco. Or even distribution through Instacart. It can get really crazy and certainly hard to keep track of. I'm looking forward to seeing the demo video once it's uploaded on your site.

You can sign up for free for 1 property right now (always free) and up to 3 properties for 2 months using the coupon codes.  I agree with the Amazon subscription headache...I used to either have 1 bottle of shampoo or 40+ and the item would keep changing too!

We break the restocking down by vendor.  You have the global list of restock items and then when you start a “shopping trip” you pick the store you are at Costco, Amazon, etc and it will show you all the items that you need that you would buy from that store.  If you are at Costco and see something on sale that you don’t typically buy there you can just add it dynamically right then.  Price tracking too.

As soon as my kid shows me how to make a video I’ll get one up but I would definitely suggest you just add a free property and test things out in the meantime.
