@Wander_Tanya Trying to integrate with Wander and not having any luck. Can’t find info about pricing and support is not answering me. If Wander imports Hospitable pricing, how am supposed to do the mark up to account for the Wander 11% fees?

For now, you don’t. I’ve mentioned directly to the Hospitable Team (in Slack) that it’s a miss to have an integration like this be “live” when you can’t set it up appropriately.
As of now this is the official “Hospitable currently supports markups for native channels, but not yet for non-native integrations like Wander.” @Patrick Pohl is heading it up as I understand and the last update on 8/11/26.
You have my full support @HeatherC as we had started this and had to hit the brakes hard until a markup was built in.
Foxhole had the same issue and based on host feedback they fixed it in like a week. A simple markup setting on their end would solve it and I agree that it's a non-starter unless and until they do that.
@Tom Beerley I have been in a Slack thread with the Wander team and @Patrick Pohl since late July. The answer that Wander (or Foxhole) was a “non-native” integration felt like a real miss (and sets bad expectations to onboard.
I’m hoping they can make Wander a “native” channel or just get a simple markup setting like you were able to have pulled off for Foxhole!
@anthonyrallo if you imagine 10,000 third party platforms all wanting to be "native integrations," it wouldn't be feasible for Hospitable to devote the resources to bake support for every one of them into their platform. They'd have to architect something generic enough that the list of supported platforms is no longer within their control and is an open architecture that any platform provider can plug into, making the list of supported platforms potentially infinite.
But short of Hospitable building that framework for providers to plug into, it's up to the individual platforms to do something sensible with the prices they're synchronizing. The ones who don't provide a markup mechanism from the get-go are demonstrlating naiveness in their understanding of the hosts they're trying to attract. They're better suited for the smaller Airbnb-only hosts where they can pull pricing from Airbnb that is already priced for a 15.5% commission, which makes 11% a genuine bargain that would leave extra margin for the host.
Hi @HeatherC, @Patrick Pohl here from Hospitable’s Partnerships team. Thanks for reaching out and flagging this.
As Anthony mentioned, markups are currently available for native channels, but not yet for non-native integrations. We’re also looking into the integration issue and will share an update once we have more clarity.

So am I to read your “fix” for Foxhole, came FROM foxhole, not Hospitable @Tom Beerley
They initially didn't understand, and pushed back on needing a markup, on the grounds that they're “cheaper than Airbnb.” After some explaining that even Airbnb's fees get covered by a markup to a platform-neutral base price that assumes no platform fees at all, they realized they needed a way to have a percentage markup on their end (since it was not expedient or even really possible to do it on the Hospitable side). It all happened inside of a month, which was pretty impressive!

@Tom Beerley This was so exciting to me I signed up for it immediately! Hope Wander comes around to getting things squared away like Foxhole has! I mentioned this thread & Foxhole as a strong example of how it could be done via our slack channel...let’s see how it goes.
@Patrick Pohl this is what Mercy Ogunlade at Wander wrote back -
“Since Hospitable doesn’t currently have a Wander-specific markup, any pricing adjustment you’d want to make to account for these fees would need to be reflected in your overall pricing in Hospitable rather than through a dedicated Wander markup. I hope this helps clarify how the pricing and fees work.”
🙄
So they have zero understanding of the issue. I guess the bigger question is… why is Hospitable adding these integrations without frontloading this issue before adding? I wasted a lot of time setting up wander for no reason.
Their site also imported the wrong ‘hero’ images and no way to fix and their support was super unhelpful. They also duplicate your listings in a strange way on their site.
Also, where is @Wander_Tanya? isn’t she supposed to be the Wander partner for Hospitable to get answers from?
now wander support is saying no fees deducted from host but it’s $39/mo? so confusing!
Hi Heather,
I apologize for the confusion here. I initially answered your question as though you were asking about bookings through Wander.com, rather than bookings through your WanderOS direct booking website.
For your direct booking website, you are not losing 11% of the booking. Your WanderOS subscription is $39/month, and guests pay a 5.85% fee on top of the booking total, made up of a 3% Wander booking fee and 2.85% credit card processing fee. Those fees are paid by the guest and are not deducted from your payout, so you do not need to increase your Hospitable rates to account for them.
The 8% host commission and 3% processing fee I previously provided apply specifically to bookings made through Wander.com. That marketplace is a separate channel from your direct booking website, which is why the fee structure is different.
I hope that clears up the distinction between the two. If your main goal is your direct booking website, the Wander.com marketplace fees would not apply to those bookings.
@HeatherC This took a minute for me to understand as well, and it's easy to continue getting the two things confused.
Wander.com, first and foremost seems to be a premium marketplace for fancy properties. To be listed there, you need to have a certain kind of Nespresso machine and you need to provide both white wine glasses AND red wine glasses -- and other stuff along those lines. Having them promote your listing on their own website is what the 11% is for.
But, because they naively expect you to be able to mark up your price on the Hospitable side (which is not technically possible), and because they haven't provided a way to do it on their side, they're expecting you to lose 11% out of your BASE Hospitable price, which is the price that generally never gets pushed to any other channel without some sort of markup to cover the fees of that channel.
And then, separate from being listed on Wander.com, they have an offering called WanderOS (which I'm guessing stands for operating system?) that is more or less the same as Houfy, where you can just use their management platform as a direct booking engine, where they don't promote you at all, and where you don't turn up in searches on Wander.com. That's the $39 a month option, and for this option it does seem like it would be fine to push the raw Hospitable price, with no markup, because the fees are all placed on the guest side.
If Tanya ever enters the chat, she can hopefully correct us all about any of this. For now though we are a bunch of blind rats trying to navigate our way through the maze of their offerings 🤪
The best way to confirm Wander’s current fees is directly with the Wander support team, as Wander.com and WanderOS have different pricing models.
For non-native channel integrations, markups need to be implemented by the integration partner, as others have done on their side.
Just to add: there has been a slight change in recent days with the Wonder integration. Due to limited technical capacity, Wander has paused the integration for new customers until further notice. They will continue supporting existing connected customers.
We’ll update this thread if Wander introduces a solution and reopens the integration. I hope this clarifies your questions and concerns.

This is discouraging I have to say @Patrick Pohl - No one has update my Slack conversation after checking in (and sharing the poignant information about how Foxhole was able to implement (rather quickly) a markup that allows for proper pricing mechanics with such a “non-native” channel.
Hope they realize they’re missing some good opportun@Wander_Tanya any help?
I completely understand the frustration, and I’m sorry you had to chase us for an update.
Wander made the decision to pause new connections unexpectedly last week and we had a meeting this week with the team. They made the decision to pause the integration, but they continuing to support existing customers. I’ll keep you posted as soon as Wander is ready to revisit the integration 😊.
@Patrick Pohl What’s confusing is that Wander has 2 offerings and hospitable did not roll out the integration properly. So if it’s $39/mo to list on Wanderos thru Hospitable with no addtl fees but they don’t get you bookings as they don’t advertise you, what is the point exactly?
I’ve also heard from others they tried to sign up for Wander.com but you can’t if you don’t have a pms. So presumably, a pms would offer integrations with both Wander and Wanderos?
also, where is your wander partner @Wander_Tanya in all this? time to find a new partner!

I can’t speak to whether the integration was rolled out properly or not, but considering the fees are more expensive than Direct Basic and almost as expensive as Direct Premium (without all of the features that Direct Premium has), then that’s a reasonable conclusion. Getting on the Wander website as an alternative to the OTAs might be a different story.
