Double bookings due to VRBO disconnections

Afternoon and greetings from Savannah-

I wanted to reach out and see how other operators are dealing with the VRBO integration issues - all of our directly owned properties are within their own VRBO account and we have used the chrome work around to keep the account connected to hospitable - it has been a major inconvenience for us and now a large group of guests. - 

  • we aren't receiving notifications if the chrome connection goes down. So we don’t know to go and renew the connection- so we just found this out this morning and have several double bookings during a very busy month here in Savannah - is anyone else experiencing this?

Do anyone know when a proper integration connection will be ready- so that we can all avoid these situations?

Hi ​@crescent.key, thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear about the double bookings.

We identified a bug where disconnection notifications (email and SMS) weren't being sent as expected. This has now been fixed, and we've sent out notifications to all affected hosts. Going forward, you should receive alerts when your VRBO connection drops so you can reconnect promptly.

We understand the Chrome workaround isn't ideal, and we're actively working toward a more stable, long-term VRBO connection and expect to have updates on this soon. 

We’re targeting a launch date at the end of March.
