This is your space to connect, learn, and grow, not just as a Hospitable customer, but as a short-term rental host navigating the complex hosting world.

Here’s what to expect, how to get started, and where to jump in.

Whether you're just getting started or you're managing dozens of listings, there’s something for you.

 

 

  1. Log in for full access

If you’re a Hospitable customer, log in with your Hospitable account to unlock full access to the Community. You will find the “👤 Login” button in the upper right corner. Some areas are visible to everyone, but the best lives behind login.

  1. Complete your profile

Everyone likes to know who they’re talking to. Head to your My Profile page and update:

  • A profile picture
  • Your company name
  • A bit about your hosting background
  • A short signature
  • The city and country you’re located
  • Your role in the industry
  1. Introduce yourself!

Start with a quick hello in our Introduce Yourself thread. Share where you’re hosting from, how long you’ve been doing it, or your favorite guest story. You’ll be surprised how many people relate.

  1. Search before posting

Your question might already have a helpful answer. Use the 🔍 search bar at the top of any page to check before starting a new thread.

  1. Ask anything

This is a safe space. If something doesn’t make sense or seems too technical, ask! You’re likely helping others who have the same question but were afraid to post it. If you’re looking for a specific answer, mark your post as a ”Question.” If you’re looking for broader input or opinions, choose “Discussion.”

  1. Be clear and specific

When posting, include as much relevant detail as you can (screenshots, steps, context). Avoid sharing private or sensitive info, as this is a public space.

  1. Be patient and respectful

Sometimes it takes a bit for the right person to see your post. Avoid reposting the same question in multiple places, you’ll get better help faster when it’s in one spot.

  1. Explore and follow what matters to you

Take a few minutes to browse open threads as it’s a great way to learn from other hosts and see what’s trending. When something catches your interest, hit Subscribe on that post or category to stay in the loop.

 

 

To keep this space safe, helpful, and welcoming, we have a few simple Community Guidelines:

 

  • Hospitality is in the name; treat others how you’d treat your best guests
  • Keep posts on-topic; no irrelevant content, solicitations, or spam
  • Keep it positive; be curious and frame things respectfully and positively
  • Privacy protection; don’t share personal info (yours or someone else’s)
  • We lift each other; bullying, shaming, or trolling of any kind isn’t welcome

Persistent or excessive violations of these guidelines will result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to post.

 

 

You won’t be navigating this space alone, so here’s who you’ll find around:

  • Hospitable team members: actively present in the Community to share updates, answer questions, gather feedback, and have conversations about the product (you can recognize us by the Hospitable logo next to the profile picture)
  • ​@Petra Podobnik, Community Manager: here to welcome you, spotlight great discussions, improve your experience, and represent community voice across the company
  • ​@Yle Labata from Customer Support: regularly jumps in to help with questions, troubleshoot, and keep things moving
  • Hospitable partners: trusted experts and service providers who collaborate with Hospitable and often jump into conversations to share insights or offer helpful resources (recognizable by the 🤝 sign and their company logo as the profile picture)
  • Fellow hosts: from brand-new to pro-level, sharing tips, asking questions, and supporting one another
