What are common tasks that occur semi-regularly (ie. not every stay)?

The Hospitable team is looking at improving task management. You’ve already given us lots of great feedback, thank you! One thing we’re trying to understand are common tasks, especially for your cleaners, that you want added to your cleaning checklist on an irregular basis. For example: replacing the fire alarm batteries, cleaning windows, dusting, emptying the lint filter on the dryer… What are other tasks that you schedule but that don’t happen on every cleaning?

Owner Statements and Invoices for Airbnb co-hosts are here!

Owner Statements and Invoices are now properly handling calculations for hosts who take Airbnb co-host payouts from Airbnb directly!Here’s how it works:When configuring our Reservation commission, let us know that you receive Airbnb co-host payouts directly from Airbnb.  On your Statements or Invoices, you’ll see a few new columns: Total paid to manager/owner will include the amounts already paid by Airbnb to the manager/owner Remaining balance due to manager/owner will include any additional amount owed to the manager/owner from Flat fees that are a part of the Reservation commission, if any On your Profit & Loss and, if connected, your accounting software, you’ll notice that journal entries for commissions from Airbnb reservations are marked as paid on the check-in date, while the commissions and fees from reservations on all other platforms are marked as paid when the relevant Statement or Invoice is marked as paid. Let us know what you think!Happy Hosting,💜 Hospitable’s Mogu

Fillable Fields in Rental Agreements is now live for all Beta users

Hi everyone!We're excited to share that Fillable Fields in Rental Agreements is now live in Beta for hosts across all plans (including legacy)!We've rolled this out to easily capture key guest details when they sign your agreement. We’d love to hear how you’d use this feature—and what challenges you face when certain upsells need manual approval.Right now, any upsell purchased through the Guest Portal, like Early Check-In/Late Checkout or Pool Heating, is charged in full immediately.But what if you need more control to confirm availability before charging the guest? That’s where Upsell Requests come in! 🎉Guests will still be able to browse and check out upsells as usual, but certain products can be configured as “requiring approval”. Those will remain pending approval before payment is (fully) captured. Accounting can be… hairy! Especially during tax season 😱 But it doesn’t have to be. On our Mogul plan, accounting is a breeze. And for those of you using QuickBooks, it just got even breezier!Hospitable’s QuickBooks integration is here! Connect QuickBooks to your Business, and our recommended configuration will be based on your specific business model (Owner, Manager, Arbitrage). You can create as many Businesses as you need. Roll with our accounting recommendations, designed by our Accountant in Residence, Brandon Huetteman, CPA (who is himself an owner, manager and arbitrage...er), or customize the setup to meet your specific needs. Use Classes within a single QuickBooks account to track profits by Business and more granularly by Property, alleviating the need for multiple QuickBooks accounts. Guest Vetting Update - Now Live for (most) Direct Premium Bookings
