Hospitable partners in the Community

Right now, the HostBuddy connection is limited.

For co-hosted listings (where the co-host is not the listing owner) there is no way to get HostBuddy AI to respond as the co-host and NOT the primary host. For co-hosts, that makes the software borderline unusable. Is this a gap you guys plan to bridge? I’ve been patiently waiting for this so I can begin implementing this in my co-hosting business!

Hi ​@scotts, we’re definitely aware that more sender options would be helpful. We’ve been discussing this with Hospitable’s team, and we’ll release this functionality as soon as their connection makes this possible - hopefully soon!

The people are dying for this feature to roll out! Can you provide us an update?

​@scotts Hospitable is very close to being finished with this functionality! As soon as they are, we will implement the sender change feature in HostBuddy, and roll it out to our users. I’ll let ​@Emily Tunggala and ​@Luke Renfrew provide an update if available!

​@scotts Good news, we now support sending messages from co-hosts in the API. I have notified the HostBuddy team so hopefully they can add support for this soon!

Thanks ​Luke! We’ve already started working on adding the functionality, and are targeting end of the week for a release.

Since we’ve had a couple of new partners join this week, I’m bringing this conversation back up to the dashboard for visibility.
