The latest product updates

Dynamic Pricing updates are on the way

Two weeks ago, we shared Dynamic Pricing is included for users on our Host, Professional, and Mogul plans! Since then, we’ve collected feedback from users and already adjusted our pricing engine. We are working on rule sets to be released in the coming weeks, including custom date ranges, restricted check-ins and check-outs, Airbnb discounts, and much more - stay tuned!

A smarter Knowledge Hub and Auto Reply

We’re constantly improving our AI features to improve its outputs. Your Knowledge Hub will now automatically update itself with new information you provide when editing a Suggest with AI message. We’ve also updated the AI Auto Reply feature by adding a delay mode that will wait a set amount of time before automatically sending the generated message.

Direct taxes, domains, and guest verification

We now remit taxes to more states, including Florida, Alabama, New Jersey, and Utah! We’ve also made it easier to connect your domain or now purchase a domain directly from us! Soon, you will be able to send emails from your custom domain. Lastly, our new and improved guest verification is now available for beta users.

New business models and accounting support

Mogul users can now choose between a manager, owner, or arbitrage business model to connect to their properties. This lets us personalize our native accounting, branding, owner statements, and owner portals to the specified business model. Our accounting is also now tailored for all three business models and our Quickbooks integration got a needed update!

Questions about the Sec Deposit in beta:

  1. It appears to be an actual charge of security deposit instead of a hold authorization. Is that right? If so, is there any consideration of processing it as an authoried hold only?
  2. When the feature is fully released, would it be limited to Direct Premium users only? 

Hey ​@Jeana D, in regard to security deposits, the plan is for us to have dynamic switching based on length of stay: hold for short stays, charge for long.

Currently only available on Direct Premium but we’d like to roll this out across channels. We should have much more detail on it in the next Town Hall!


How do you define short vs. long stays in that case? 

 


Current logic is the following…

  • 3 nights or less? Hold
  • Between 4 and 25 nights? Charge if Amex, Hold if not
  • 26 nights or more? Charge

Do you expect to announce a target roll out date for security deposits at the March 28 townhall?
