We’ve made it easier than ever to create and assign tasks, coordinate, and pay your teammates for the work they do! They can even access their own app to stay on top of jobs, keep you updated, and set up their payout method. We also have made improvement to the Vrbo Chrome Extension, helping navigate the channel connection. 

Operations

Hospitable Tasks and the teammate app 🪣

  • You can now create tasks for cleanings, turnovers, inspections, maintenance, or anything else your operation needs
  • Simply add clear instructions, checklists, and due dates, so everyone knows what a job done looks like
  • Your teammates can accept or reject requested jobs, then mark work complete in their app
  • You can automatically generate jobs with Task Rules based on check-in and checkout timing, so routine ops happen without manual follow-ups
  • Stay in the know with status updates flowing in real time as tasks move from Ready, In progress, Needs attention, and Completed
  • Teammates can upload photos and updates in the app, giving you proof of work without extra messaging threads
  • In their app, teammates can see all assigned work in one place, even across multiple properties
  • They can also set up banking information in the app, so you can pay them out quickly once work is completed
  • This will help you spend less time coordinating and more time delivering a consistently great guest experience

Vrbo

Updates with connecting accounts with the Chrome Extension 🏘

  • You no longer need to log in with 2FA for multiple accounts and profiles
  • There’s clearer information on the connected accounts and shows necessary actions needed for connecting
  • It’s easier to add subsequent accounts without disconnecting your current ones with a new authentication process

Improved error messaging for the Chrome Extension ⚠️

  • The new version of the extension now displays more specific error messages for failed connections
  • These error messages include possible reasons for failure, such as account already being connected or temporary connection issues
  • Extension now handles rate limiting errors by waiting and trying again, providing a clear indication to the user

Owners Portal

Owner Portal calendar syncs with the set start of the week 📆

  • The Owner Portal calendar now starts on the day set by the property manager
  • This aligns with the manager’s preferences and allows for easier planning and organization
  • This will lessen confusion and unnecessary clicks to change the start of the week

  • Owners can now view past months on their calendar in the owner's portal
  • The calendar will respect the starting date configuration of the portal

Inbox

Success and error notifications added for booking actions 🔰

  • You’ll now receive notifications for successful or unsuccessful reservation actions
  • There’s an immediate notification if an ad-hoc payment request or refund has been processed
  • This will help you stay informed about any cancellations and refunds made through the inbox request features

General

Improved onboarding experience for new users 💜

  • New signups now go through an updated self-onboarding experience
  • The updates reduce friction and improve clarity on how to connect channels and configure the account
  • This will eventually be available to current users who need help exploring features
