The connection to Claude “expires” after only a few minutes and needs to be reconnected.  Am I doing something wrong?

I do love the feature but can’t get it to stay connected consistently.

Tried prompting it to find you a solution I guess @IslandPride? I’ll tag @Nik Logachev (who released it) but he’s out today and back tomorrow

We’ve rolled out an attempted fix for the issue here @IslandPride - please let us know if issues persist.

Grok says there is not a direct setup to Hospitable when using iOS mobile devices. Any suggestions on the work around setup?

So I had been using Claude a bit over the past few years, and it has been getting much more useful so I decided to pay for it today (as I haven’t paid for any AI up until now). Immediately upon paying for a month, my account was suspended and I was refunded. Clearly there is some automated system that is a bit overzealous. But now I can’t use it nor can I access any of my information there. Has anybody had to deal with this before?

Now THIS i am excited about. I’ve been using Claude and built so many custom integrations - lock control with my 3rd party lock service, rate management tools, this is awesome.

What a fantastic feature - thank you! Can you please add more skills to your MCP such as change listing description, change and implement automated messages etc. Thank you again

TLDR: I tested the new Hospitable MCP across both Claude and ChatGPT during real guest interactions this week. It works — the read capabilities are genuinely impressive, and guest messaging flows well. Below is a capability matrix mapping every MCP tool to its Hospitable UI counterpart, a Claude vs. ChatGPT reliability comparison, confirmed gaps (Knowledge Hub is the biggest), and recommendations for getting started. Full details in the document.

First, a big thank you to the Hospitable team for launching the MCP server — being the first STR platform to do this is a genuinely meaningful step, and it's exciting to see Hospitable leading here.

I've spent the past several days stress-testing the connector across both Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI) during real guest interactions — including a live booking scenario that involved date changes on a pre-approved inquiry. I wanted to understand what the MCP can and can't do today, how it behaves differently across AI platforms, and where the biggest opportunities are for Hospitable to expand it.

What came out of that testing is the document below: a practical capability matrix that maps every exposed MCP tool to its corresponding Hospitable UI section, a Claude vs. ChatGPT comparison based on firsthand experience, a list of confirmed gaps (with priorities), and some governance recommendations for hosts getting started.

A few highlights worth calling out:

  • The read capabilities are impressive — reservations, calendars, message threads, reviews, financials, and property details all come through cleanly.
  • Guest messaging (send on reservation and inquiry threads) is the primary write surface and works well for operational workflows.
  • The Knowledge Hub is the biggest blind spot — it's central to how many of us run operations, but it's not currently exposed through the MCP.
  • Session reliability varies by platform. Claude.ai has been the most consistent in my testing. ChatGPT can work, but I experienced intermittent session issues that caused tool execution to fail during a live booking — despite invoking the connector identically in both working and non-working sessions.

I've already submitted structured feedback through Hospitable's submit-feedback MCP tool on the gaps I encountered (pre-approval management, specifically). I'd encourage anyone else testing the MCP to do the same — it goes directly to the development team.

This is very much a v1 document. I'll update it as Hospitable expands the tool list (Miles mentioned more functions are coming in the days and weeks ahead). If you spot anything inaccurate or have findings from your own testing, I'd love to hear them.

@AlphaApexHomes  - that was my question on the townhall and sadly the answer is NO

This is awesome!  Love it.  I’d love to see if anyone has built any Hospitable specific prompts or Skills for Claude.

Yassss! I just hooked up Claude today and this is game changing. We use Jira to manage our day-to-day operations + maintenance tasks.

First thing I did was have Claude pull at the most recent maintenance flags and create Jira work items for each of them. Claude was even smart enough to create in the right project and added relevant guest information and context.

This is going to super charge us!

no plans to reward your legacy customers? Legacy metrics, no MCP, etc. Pretty disappointing for us that have been with you the longest.
