Finding your way around Hospitable is about to get a whole lot easier. We’re updating the side menu and in-app navigation to help you get where you need to go, faster.

This new layout makes it simpler to access your most-used features, without the hunt. And we’re rolling it out gradually, so nothing interrupts your day-to-day. You’ll even have the chance to opt in early and explore the update before it goes live for everyone.

Want to take it for a spin?

We’ve built an interactive demo where you can click through the new navigation and leave feedback. Tell us what feels great and what could be better. Your input will help us fine-tune the experience before launch it in the coming weeks!

Thanks for helping us shape the future of Hospitable!

OOh @Alan Sincich - very exciting! Didn’t notice a ton of differences except the rearrangement and expand/collapse of the Guest Experiences, Devices & Ops sidebar… I left some feedback already.

@anthonyrallo Yes! We thought it was about time to make it easier to find the plethora of features we’ve released over the years haha. We’ve grouped a few things together and centralized the settings a bit. We also moved the channel connection page into the settings as well. Appreciate you leaving feedback! Curiously, how did you like the format of this interactive demo? Like clicking around freely and leaving feedback with the Typeform?

@Alan Sincich - It was “ok” - I prefer a bit of a guide on “these are the new things” and ideally a view of what the OLD was too. I kinda set it up myself by doing this though just b/c things weren’t instantly apparent.

Very useful. I left feedback directly in the demo.

I want to choose my Home Screen. I likely want it to be inbox or calendar. I don’t want to see whatever is on that info page you force me to go to.

@Knotty Retreats thank you for the feedback! Interesting, so like if you could “favorite” a page that would default as your home page? I feel like that would be a nice feature to have and many would agree! For this project, it might be a little out of scope as it’s more of a new functionality rather than design related, but it’s a very valid idea. Did you also leave the feedback in the survey in the demo by chance?

@Alan Sincich @Knotty Retreats - I 100% agree with this. I think default view is what is important here.

I think the inbox might be the place where hospitable can make some good changes. Right now when you click into a chat, you have to click out of it to see other chats. Why not have a sidebar showing all chats still even if you are in another chat? Just like you see in any other chat app such as whatsapp.

navigating between chats is annoying in the current state.

“forces”? You must be referring to the H app, I reckon.

I have a series of Hospitable bookmarks in my browser to jump directly to the desired feature:

Please add Inquiries on the Hospitable Home section that shows checkins. My team can easily miss inquiries as they are not as prominent in hospitable as they are on airbnb.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for the feedback. 💜

Both the Dashboard and Inbox redesigns are planned. We don’t have an ETA to share just yet, but they’re definitely on the roadmap.

Beyond INQUIRES @Alex 66  - New bookings don’t get marked as unread or receive notifications in HSPTB today. This is CRITICAL so new bookings don’t get missed.

I do not understand the absence of a dedicated space (both a menu entry and a page) to view all requests and reservations, as exists in every other PMS on the market.

Currently, the only way to find reservations is through the calendar. This is not sufficient and not practical — especially on mobile or when trying to search for a specific booking. A calendar view cannot replace a structured, searchable list.

The lack of notifications is also critical. Notifications should exist by default, with the option to disable them if necessary. Operating without proper alerts for new requests or reservations creates a real operational risk.

In my view, there should be a main menu entry such as “Reservations” that includes structured submenus:

  • Requests

  • Upcoming reservations

  • Ongoing stays

  • Past reservations

Each section should provide access to a filterable list view (search by guest name, date, property, status, etc.). These functionalities are standard across all competing PMS solutions.

Additionally, the shortcuts displayed on the homepage are not accurate. I currently see request indicators that date back to before I even started using Hospitable. I cannot clear them, even though they are expired. This creates confusion and reduces trust in the dashboard data.

These are fundamental features expected in any professional PMS. Their absence significantly impacts usability and operational efficiency.
