Check out our updates to our most recent product improvements, including translating your guest experience! Our features constantly undergo iterations to improve their usability, and this week's are no different!
Direct
Translate your booking site to attract more guests
- You can now add different languages in your settings to automatically translate your Direct booking site
- Everything from the site to the booking flow will be translated for guests based on their default browser language
- Right now, we support Spanish, German, French, and English by default
- Go to your settings to add languages and learn more about translating your Direct site in our detailed help article
Rental Agreements
Automatically translate your rental agreements
- Add different languages in your settings to automatically translate your rental agreements for easier signing
- Your rental agreement will translate to the guest's default browsing language
- The shortcodes you've added to fill your rental agreements will match the language in the document rather than the guest conversation
- Works the same as translating Direct sites, add languages in your settings, and they will automatically be translated
Security Deposits
Quicker charge request payouts
- Your security deposit charge requests will now be reviewed automatically, ensuring you get paid out much quicker
- We will hold the payout for twenty-four hours to monitor unexpected behavior, then release it
- Requests must be submitted within two days of checkout, since after that time, we release the deposit to your guest
- Learn more about security deposits in this detailed help article
Smart Devices
Display temperature in Celsius
- All users outside of the United States will now see their temperature in Celsius by default
- This will be applied everywhere we display temperature, like the inbox, device dashboard, and presets page
API and Connect
Force resync for iCal imports
- When an iCal import becomes disconnected, you'll now find a new option of "resync: true" in the "put" request that you can use
- View it in the updated public API docs
