There are exciting updates to help you customize your owner statements, add a payout method for upsells, and to try security deposits for your Airbnb guests!

Security Deposits

Airbnb security deposits are now in beta

• You can now automatically collect, hold, and release security deposits for Airbnb bookings
• You can also request a charge claim from the guest conversation

Owner Statements

Statements and invoices are more customizable

• You can toggle the booking platform name and/or platform icon
• Hide or show reservation dates and nights
• One unique reservation identifier must be present, such as a reservation code, guest name, etc.

Updates to statement columns and totals

• Income columns - a new gross reservation income can be used
• Fee columns - configure commissionable base and reservation commissions
• Tax columns - option to include passed-through taxes on statements
• Summary section - will be more minimal if you've hidden detailed columns, and important totals, like "due to the owners and manager," will always be present
• These updates apply to all statements, invoices, generated PDFs, and the owner portal

Payout Methods

Add payout methods in your preferences

• You can now add a payout method without being on a Direct Premium subscription
• This allows you to offer upsells to guests that come through any booking channel and collect security deposits for Airbnb guests
• Adding a payout method is now done in your preferences rather than in Direct
• This is limited to users in the United States, Great Britain, and Australia
• Legacy users who are not on Direct Premium cannot add a payout method for upsells and security deposits

• We've embedded Zapier onto its app page within Hospitable

• You can now see your existing Zaps, search different apps to connect with Hospitable, and explore popular workflows created by other Hospitable users

Guest Verification

Showing the purpose of stay

• You’ll now see your guest’s purpose of stay in the verification details and whether it is approved or suspected
