We’ve made some exciting updates to the Hospitable Tasks App, helping you and your teammates collaborate seamlessly and more efficiently! We also made some improvement to the Inbox and added three new integrations. 

Operations

Teammates can now share tasks with others for support 🧹

  • Your teammates can share access to tasks with others who might be supporting them
  • This is useful for individual cleaners who need occasional help or cleaning companies assigning tasks to their workforce
  • You only need to add primary teammates, not secondary teammates, for task assignment
  • The names of shared teammates will be shown when they send messages, report issues, or upload images

See teammate cleanliness review when manually reviewing a guest 🛏

  • Your teammate’s cleanliness review is now visible in the manual guest review form
  • You’ll be able to see the rating, tags, and comments left by your teammate
  • It will pre-fill "Respect of house rules" section based on tags in teammate review

A more intuitive teammates page 👥

  • We now change the main button based on whether your teammate has accessed Tasks App
  • We’ve moved the iCal link setting to a dedicated tab on the page

Inbox

Renaming of our different kinds of notes 📝

  • Team Notes are now “Internal Notes” and the Sidebar Notes are now “Conversation Notes”
  • You can keep track of important conversation information with Conversation Notes
  • Use the shortcode %conversation_note% to easily add Conversation Notes to messages
  • Use Internal Notes to communicate with your team and keep track of internal discussions

Show tags and events on teammate reviews 🔖

  • You can now quickly see tags given by teammates on guest stay reviews in your Inbox conversation
  • When you click the tag, you’ll be navigated to the corresponding task event
  • Task events also now have different icons for teammate arrival and guest review, making them easier to distinguish

Airbnb

Slicing model for activated Airbnb opportunities ✂️

  • You can now activate an opportunity on Airbnb and easily manage dates with new "slicing" functionality
  • Opportunity names now include date range for easy identification of same-month date slices
  • You can only remove dates or turn off opportunity after activation, increasing alignment with the Airbnb process

Knowledge Hub

Delete Inbox auto-detected Knowledge Hub sources 🗑

  • You can now delete unnecessary "Inbox auto-detected" sources in your Knowledge Hub
  • You’ll receive a confirmation message explaining what will happen of deletion
  • The Knowledge Hub will updated to reflect remaining sources after deletion and Suggest with AI will adapt to the changes

I’ve started to onboard my cleaning team using the Tasks ap and so far it’s working pretty well but I have one more feature request that would be a HUGE help: Automated message trigger to my incoming guests once the cleaning has been marked complete that they are welcome to check in early. Is this something that the Hospitable team has been working on?! At the very least include a “Teammate X has completed their task” message in the guest message thread as you do now for “Teammate X has arrived to complete their task”.
