Exciting updates for hosts using Rental Agreements and our new Hospitable Tasks! We also have a few new integrations to connect with and have made things easier for owners and teammates to log in to their portals.

Rental Agreements

Clearer rental agreement 🗓

  • Rental agreements will now always display the year for check-in and checkout dates
  • This change ensures legal and insurance compliance if any case comes up
  • The year will also be included in the %check_in% and %check_out% short codes in guest messaging

Improved agreement name validation 🪪

  • We now require at least 5 characters and 1 space for guest and signatory names
  • This will improve accuracy and preventing confusion for hosts
  • Error message now clearly states "Full name is required" to encourage guests to use their actual name

Operations

Accept tasks in advance ✅

  • Your teammates can now accept tasks in Hospitable Tasks up to 6 months in advance
  • This will allow for better planning and organization of tasks

Longer time-period for task completion ⏰

  • You can now mark tasks as complete to initiate payment
  • Your teammates no longer have a time limit to transition a task to complete

Owners Portal

Seamless owner portal login 📧

  • We’ve deprecated the use of magic links for login due to user experience limitations
  • Owners just need to enter their email and a code sent to their email to access the app

General

Easier login process for cleaners and owners 💌

  • We’ll now automatically redirect cleaners and owners to their respective portals when trying to log in on the main app
  • Password reset redirect to the appropriate portal for role-only users!-->

Will we be able to see the email / code combo the owner needs to access the owner portal? If an owner can’t find the email then is there an easy way we can help them out?
