Hello, I am utilizing the Thermostat integration for my Ecobee in our rental condo. We’re in Plam Springs, so really hot in the Summer. The issue is that once a tenant leaves and our thermostat goes to unoccupied the temperature spikes as expected. But if our cleaner doesn’t come by till the next morning it’s incredibly uncomfortable for them. Any way to delay the time after a checkout before the thermostat goes to unoccupied mode. There is the setting for getting down to occupied temp hours before checkin but none for after.

Hi @MPea It’s essentially adding a full buffer functionality, same as we do with smart lock codes. It’s definitely on our radar but unfortunately I don’t have an ETA for you just yet. Here’s the featurebase you can vote on. https://feedback.hospitable.com/p/ability-to-delay-unoccupied-thermostat-preset-until-after-cleaners-finish

There is unoccupied mode vs long term unoccupied (at least 2 weeks beween guests), you could try that? My opinion is that it’s better to keep the thermostat closer to ideal level if you’re expecting a checkin within a week or so.
