#132509517: Authorization Received to Remove VRBO Connection for Salty Joe’s — Ongoing Issue Affecting My STR Business

I am escalating this issue because it has now approaching a month without resolution.

I have been trying to get the VRBO connection for my property, Salty Joe’s, properly disconnected/removed so that I can transition my STR business away from the existing Hospitable connection and establish the correct Hospitable connection going forward. I have already provided the necessary authorization to remove the VRBO connection, yet the issue remains unresolved.

This is no longer simply a technical inconvenience. It is directly affecting my ability to manage and operate my short-term rental business. I have been patient and have worked through the requested steps, but after a month, I still do not have a resolution.

I am asking Hospitable to escalate this to the appropriate technical team and complete the VRBO connection removal so that I can move forward.

Please provide a clear status update, identify what is still preventing the connection from being removed, and give me a concrete resolution timeline.

I would appreciate this being treated with the urgency it deserves given the direct business impact.

Hello there, @Natalie196. First, I'm really sorry. A month is far too long to be stuck on something this foundational to running your business, and your frustration is completely understandable. Thank you for staying patient while we worked through it.

Where things stand now:

  • Our team escalated this directly to VRBO after our internal removal path hit an error that we couldn't clear from our side. VRBO has now confirmed the connection is fully cleared on their end. That means the blocker is gone and you should be able to retry the setup and continue onboarding your property under the correct Hospitable connection.

We also posted a full update on your support ticket. Kindly check there for the detailed notes.

What we need from you:

  • Please go through the setup flow again at your earliest convenience.
  • If you hit any error or anything doesn't look right, reply to your existing ticket, and we'll jump on it immediately; there's no need to start over or wait in a queue.

Really appreciate your patience, and again, I'm sorry for how long this has taken. We're here to make sure the retry goes smoothly, so please tag us the moment anything looks off. 🙏

Casey from support provided the steps now that the engineers have cleared everything and I am not connected, thankfully. It was a long and painful month.
