I am a new brand new host this year. We have guests for June and July but after that...nothing. I realize August is back to school, etc., but it has absolutely been crickets for bookings past July. Since we are new to Florida rentals, is this fairly common and when will bookings pick up again? Would love any advice that Florida hosts here may have. Thanks!!

Do you have any past guests who stayed with you in August before? I'd recommend reaching out to them again, as there are still two months before August. We've seen owners drive a good number of bookings by simply making an offer to folks who had already booked in that location during that time. Also, on the marketing front, what are some reasons folks should rent from you? Create blog posts, social posts, or email newsletters about those reasons to re-engage people and get them thinking about it.
