We’ve gone from a Guidebook only product(which is free, with add-on services for Mobile TXT messages, translations, custom domains) , to a full suite of products which include a wifi captive portal that allows you to collect guest email addresses (not just the booker, but all the guests staying) before they can access wifi. This product is $7 for the first device then $2 per device there after per month.

We’re just about to release our Android Tablet APK which allows you to turn a tablet into a kiosk that loads your guidebook; you can lock the device down so its only your guide content, or you can choose that external links; in screensaver mode it becomes a picture frame where you choose which images, they could even be advertising like Scan here for a Voucher to Bobs Burgers, etc. On top of that you can set a notification on the screen which runs in full screen or ticker mode across the top, i.e. “Its rubbish day today, please remember to put the bins out”, plus many more features. This product is $2 per device per month.

We’ve added credits to your account so you can test both the Wi-Fi Marketing captive portal and the mobile TXT services. Once you’ve had a chance to try them out, we’d really appreciate it if you could share your feedback here for others.

Thanks for this, didn't know about BetterSTR, just switched from TouchStay. Love it! Seen this form from the home screen. Amazing feature! 

We just recently switched to TouchStay for our guidebooks. We were previously using Hostfully Guidebooks. Mind sharing more about your experience with switching over? I found it took some time to get everything transferred to TouchStay, but love how easy it is to use once set up and I love the integration with Hospitable that TouchStay offers. Have you seen any downsides to switching from TouchStay I should be aware of if thinking of making another switch?

​@getlodgex Touchstay was more polished; that is about the only difference. We were just paying for a more polished guidebook, but Betterstr has the exact same features, just easier to use. Be mindful: you have to pay for translations of your guidebook, while Touchstay has Google built in to translate... still, it costs less, just pay for the translations. You have to start over and begin from step 1; I hated that part, but it's part of the game to save money and remain affordable and lucrative. I wish they had a feature to enter your guidebook link and have the system absorb and reconstruct it to Betterstr. The setup is not 5 minutes like they said, unless you already have the template made on their system; it took the same amount of time to set up as Touchstay. Also I could never get my main photo be of the property with touchstay and now I can make the cover image the property. Touchstay had strict sizing rules while betterstr is more adaptive
