Hospitable Overriding My Pricing From PiceLabs

I recently became aware as a Legacy billing customer that Hospitable seems to be overriding my pricing set in PriceLabs. My intention is only to use Hospitable for messaging and PriceLabs for pricing. At no point do I recall giving Hospitable permission to change my pricing. The impact of this change was that our entire college football season (we are in a big college football market in the US) got booked fast for 2026 for a total impact of ~7k under true market rate.

Has anyone dealt with this issue? I’m shocked that Hospitable would opt me in to pricing management without my explicit authorization. Support has not responded to my message all day and I’m just realizing there is no phone support… Any guidance is appreciated.

Hi @tdr777! Paula here from the Hospitable support team.

I was trying to locate your email address/user ID but I can’t find it connected to your community profile thus I am not able to locate the ticket you have with support. Can you edit your profile and include it in the information so I can check your account?

Can you also clarify what you’re wanting to use Hospitable for, you mentioned that you want to use Hospitable for messaging. How about your other calendar data? Are you looking to manage your calendars (aside from pricing) directly on your booking platforms?

More context on the pricing sync overwriting your Pricelabs account, if your Pricelabs account is connected directly on your Booking platform like Airbnb and not through Hospitable, this is expected to happen. This is because two sources are pushing calendar data like prices to your OTA calendar, Hospitable via the Pricing Sync and Pricelabs.

If you choose to use Hospitable you must connect your Pricelabs account directly to Hospitable for us to receive the correct prices and push them over to your booking platforms.

More information on that here: https://help.hospitable.com/en/articles/4596787-how-to-connect-pricelabs-to-hospitable

But this may change if you prefer a different setup where you manage your calendars directly on the booking platforms.

Let me know if you have questions or if you’ve added your account information on your Community profile so I can check your account 🙏🏻

Mainly I’m confused why Hospitable is doing pricing at all. I only signed up for automated messaging a while back and never explicitly authorized it to take over pricing. Shouldn’t a user have to accept such a massive change?
