Please allow hyperlinks as a source for the Knowledge Hub. Local restaurants and activities lists are constantly changing

Thanks for the feedback and also adding that to our feature requests!

Thanks for this @Doug MacMaster.

Right now, Knowledge Hub pulls from:

  • Touch Stay guidebooks
  • PDF uploads (500+ characters)
  • Inbox items we auto-detect

Indeed, it does not currently ingest external URLs as a live source.

Two practical workarounds today:

  • Touch Stay integration: keep your guidebook fresh there, and we will sync updates to the Knowledge Hub
  • A lightweight PDF: include your restaurant and activity picks; the AI will use the text, but it will not crawl the links
  • Optional extra: create a “Local Guide” page in Knowledge Hub with your latest picks and links. Even though we don’t crawl the links, this keeps a single, searchable source the AI can cite

I saw the feature request here on the link. 💜

@Doug MacMaster, every Friday I’ll be creating a thread to promote feature requests among other hosts, so feel free to head over and ask community to upvote it, if they agree of course:

@Doug MacMaster I’ve asked for this one for a while (our guidebooks are active websites that change regularly too). In a dynamic world, this just makes sense. Static is where you die.

I honestly thought I had already put this in as a feature request in the old system a LONG time ago.

This all being said, the inbox auto detect is massively helpful, but I’d like URL ingestion too - badly.

@anthonyrallo i am at the Hospitable event today and they thought this was a great idea, and said this topic was already posted. I couldn’t find it. I think it makes sense. Let’s try to make it happen!

@Doug MacMaster awesome! Maybe tighten up the feature request and then do a “campaign” across the FB group & here to drive up votes?
