I have to replace my shower head (the actual handheld device wore out).  I’m considering going with the large rain-head style and if i do, I lean against the handheld shower.  I have decent water pressure, fyi. Any thoughts or tips / brands?  My place is a tiny home - not high price luxury,  but great ratings & good occupancy. I get zero children - the avatar is couples - some seniors - not a lot.

Hi @WadeSATX - do you have a picture of the bathroom you’re installing it in? Rain shower heads are best when placed up high and have enough square footage in a shower. I’d be happy to recommend if you can share pix/more details.

Since you don’t have children, I would ask if you have a bench in the shower. If so, a handheld would be a helpful option for your avatar that would use the bench while showering (senior, women). It does add another failure point as you found out they will wear out and could be a hinder depending on placement. If you can figure out placement and it’s easy to operate (controls not at the top of the shower) then I don’t think there is anything wrong with offering the handheld.  My 2 cents.

Thanks - I detached it and it’s running fine without it.  I am going to just hold off. The bench is a good idea.

@WadeSATX - Let me tell you that I can guarantee if you go with a Latoscana brand (sub-brand of Paini) you will have a quality product with customer service that stands behind their product.

7 years after installation we had a part fail and I asked where we could buy the replacement part. They were more than pleased to send me the part for FREE instead.
