Maximum stay setting not syncing with Booking.com

Hello,

Yesterday I set the maximum stay limit to 8 nights in Hospitable. The change was reflected immediately on Airbnb, but after applying the same setting for Booking.com, guests are still able to make reservations for more than 8 nights.

Could you please clarify why this setting is not syncing with Booking.com, even though it is available as an option in your platform?

In practice, I need to prevent guests from booking stays longer than 8 nights. At the moment, this feature appears to work for Airbnb but not for Booking.com, which means the restriction is not being applied correctly.

Please let me know whether this is a known limitation, a sync issue, or if there is an additional step I need to complete in order for the maximum stay restriction to work properly on Booking.com.

I tried to figure out what might be happening here. I can see you received one long reservation yesterday (16 nights), approximately one hour before changing the settings (setting the maximum stay to 8 nights), right?

The reason is that we sync the maximum stay restriction to the parent rate plan in Booking.com (this is an API limitation), but child rate plans don't inherit that restriction from the parent. So even if the maximum stay is correctly set to 8 nights in Hospitable, guests can still book longer stays on child rate plans unless the maximum stay is also configured for each child plan in the Booking.com Extranet (Rates & Availability → Rate Plans → Edit), or those child rate plans are disabled.

Could you please set the maximum stay on your Non-refundable and Weekly rate plans directly in Booking.com, or disable any rate plans you don't want to use?

After that, bookings made through the Standard Rate should respect the 8-night maximum that we sync.
