Hi everyone, another Nest thermostat update 👋

Great news - we've now received Google's approval to move into a public pilot for the Nest integration.

As part of the approval process, Google tested the integration and approved it for a public pilot.

Over the past few weeks we've also been testing with a small group of users and Hospitable employee-hosts, and the results have been very encouraging. We're now ready to expand testing to a much larger group so we can gather more real-world feedback across different setups and continue polishing the experience before a full release.

If you'd like to participate in the public pilot, you can apply here:
https://hospitable.typeform.com/to/JvsYj0Z8

We'll be onboarding users in batches as we monitor performance and feedback.

Thank you again to everyone who's been following the progress, sharing feedback, and patiently waiting for Nest support. It's been a long road getting through Google's approval process, and we're excited to finally get the integration into more people's hands. We'll continue posting updates as the pilot progresses.

After submitting the confirmation says it’s a pilot for Kwikset smart locks, not Nest thermostats.

Whoops, fixed that last page. Don’t worry about it, Google Nest applications land in a separate place for me to review 😉
