Co-hosts, we spent a lot of time polishing your experience with our Vrbo Partner connection! Every change feels a bit scary first, but here is the reality of what you can do with Hospitable.

  • You CAN connect your owner's Vrbo account. All you need to know is the email of their Vrbo account, and then share with them a link to complete the connection between Vrbo and Hospitable.

  • Your owners will add their credit card for the payment of Vrbo commissions. Vrbo will invoice those commissions on the first week of the month after the guest checks out.

Vrbo Payments can be processed through STRIPE or through HOSPITABLE.

  • If through STRIPE, your owners will need to connect THEIR Stripe account to Hospitable. They will be bearing all responsibility for chargebacks, underwriting, compliance; and reservations cancellation will still incur their payment processing fee (ie: cancellations are a cost to THEM).

  • If through HOSPITABLE, your owners will need to verify their bank accounts. Hospitable will be the merchant of record, take care of chargeback defence, compliance, underwriting, and you will not be charged a fee by Hospitable for cancellations (cancellations are a cost to US not to your owners).

The result is exactly what you want to see:

  • Your owners are on Vrbo, connected to Hospitable, securing bookings.

  • You are not the payment processor. You don't receive money.

  • Your owners receive the money, and they pay the Vrbo fees out of their credit card.

  • If you are a Mogul customer, we can generate invoices to your owners for your co-host business and your owner pay those invoices for no extra fees by ACH debit.
