Accounting can be
 hairy! Especially during tax season đŸ˜± But it doesn’t have to be. On our Mogul plan, accounting is a breeze. And for those of you using QuickBooks, it just got even breezier!

Hospitable’s QuickBooks integration is here! 

  • Connect QuickBooks to your Business, and our recommended configuration will be based on your specific business model (Owner, Manager, Arbitrage). You can create as many Businesses as you need.
  • Roll with our accounting recommendations, designed by our Accountant in Residence, Brandon Huetteman, CPA (who is himself an owner, manager and arbitrage...er), or customize the setup to meet your specific needs.
  • Use Classes within a single QuickBooks account to track profits by Business and more granularly by Property, alleviating the need for multiple QuickBooks accounts.
  • Choose the date to start syncing QuickBooks. If you haven’t done any accounting yet this year, pick January 1, 2025 and we’ll take care of the hard parts 😏

I have a feature request regarding the Transactions section.

 

Currently, once a transaction appears in a published statement, it becomes locked. While this behavior makes sense for accounting consistency, it would be very helpful to still be able to adjust the “Sync with Accounting” setting afterward, as in practice we often realize post-publication that this setting needs to be corrected.

 

Additionally, I would highly appreciate an enhancement of the transaction filter, so that we can filter transactions by a custom date range. This would significantly improve usability when reviewing historical data or reconciling specific time periods.

 

I hope these suggestions can be considered for future development.

One additional suggestion regarding the “Transactions” section:

 

It would be extremely helpful if the overview list of transactions (e.g. in the Statements or Payouts tab) included a visual indicator or column showing whether a transaction is currently set to “Sync with Accounting” or not.

 

This would make it much easier to quickly review and manage accounting-relevant items without having to click into each transaction individually.

 

Even something simple like a ✅ or ❌ icon, or a separate “Synced” column, would make a big difference in terms of workflow efficiency and transparency.

How about connection to Flyfinn app?
