As you can imagine and appreciate, our hardworking developers have taken some time off towards the end of the year to spend time with their loved ones. So though it’s not our longest changelog, it is a very impactful one, especially for our Direct Premium users!
Upsells
Automated tax collection and remittance 🛍
- We are now automatically collecting and remitting taxes for all upsells sold instead of paying them out to property owners
- Tax calculation remains unchanged with only the handling process shifting from the owner’s responsibility to Hospitable remittance
- This applies to upsells sold on both Direct Premium and booking channel reservations, expanding coverage beyond Direct guests alone
