Hey hosts! 🎉

You've been asking for listings management and creation tools, and we heard you loud and clear! Thanks to your feedback and patience, we're finally making this happen – and we want to get it absolutely right.

We'd love to learn from the pros (that's you!) to build something that truly makes your life easier. Would you be willing to share your insights with us?

Here's what we're curious about:

  • How you currently create and manage your listing

  • What works well for you – and what drives you up the wall

  • Your secret sauce for knowing when a listing is ready to go live

  • The game-changing tips you wish someone had told you when you started creating listings

We still have open spots for our research call on this topic - You can book them here

Can you imagine if HO could take my main listing and replicate it on other channels for me?  Oh boy, what an easy life that would be….

Agreed! That sounds dreamy!! 🥰

For me the touch points are cleaner management, getting guest verification to the right guests, the ai has gotten worse and I cannot rely on it like before. I have fixes for everything.

  1. A. The cleaner management needs automatic messaging or a short code for battery levels.
    B. I need a hard “accept booking” button that is separate from accepting the booking. I have instant book on everywhere and do background checks on guests with few reviews. The guest needs to sign the rental agreement, perform the background checks, then I review and hit the accept button.
  2. Guests with few reviews still get a link for verification even with the short code. This issue has been around for a year for me and support has not been able to help.
  3. The ai needs answer questions politely, not create a paragraph. Repeating the guests compliments is a huge pet peeve as well as the dash lines everywhere. Example “We had a great time at your cabin and loved the walking trails and the grill. We will be coming back” ai response “I’m glad you had a great time, loved the walking trails and the grill - we would love to have you back!” A simple response of “I’m glad you had a great stay, we would love to have you back!”
The ai has gotten more like this, I loved last year’s iteration. It was still too flowery, but it worked well and felt more like a host.

It should function similarly to calendar management, meaning you can manage all aspects of your listing from one point of contact area in Hospitable, and I don’t need to login to other platforms. A common use case for existing listings might be to swap out photos when I update photography. Doing that from the photos area. Or maybe I bring a new listing online. Can I create it all in Hospitable and then push it all out to the main platforms with a button? I should also be able to check settings in different platforms and update them from hospitable.

Hi Greg! Thank you so much for your insights! I have noted them down!

When you update your photos, do you want the same photos to go to all listings? Or is there a case where updated photos should go only to Airbnb but not the others? Curious to hear more about it!

Yeeeees~! That's what this is all about 🤗

Being able to set everything in one place and replicate everywhere (but also to have the flexibility to set different values for each channel).

We're also curious about amenities, do you have any processes you follow to make sure everything is set up correctly across different channels?

Ideally, hosts would be able to update photos in one place and have it push to all channels in the highest resolution possible. The only reason I could think of not wanting that would be for A/B testing. But if a host has several listings, and they have a few new photos or want to switch them up for the season, it is a bit tedious to have to go through every listing and then every channel to do it.

Hosts should have both options. We should get to choose where to push new photos (or other changes).

I think this is how they’re thinking about it. It’s not as easy as it sounds when you think about the platform nuances. Our previous PMS did it, but it was a HORRIBLE UX experience and in the end I was more pleased doing it manually. Granted, we have 7 properties, not 70.

I think your question @Marina Coimbra is important and having the ability to select WHICH platform gets which update (such as pictures) is a good option to build in.
