Offer trip insurance to guests and earn commission 🧳
- This upsell has been auto-enabled for US hosts that are on a non-legacy plan with the option to opt out
- You will automatically earn commission on any trip insurance upsells that your guest’s purchase
- You can create and manage trip insurance directly in Upsells under Guest Experience, with support for custom payout method scoping per property
- We’ve also streamlined the guest portal experience by auto-filling guest billing details and redirecting to checkout after all upsells are added to the cart
- Guests can also reuse previous payment methods with CVC confirmation for faster checkout and view their purchased insurance policy details under "Purchased upgrades" in their portal
Guest Portal
Primary booker must confirm themself to access the guest portal 🪪
- We’ve added a new step to the guest portal check-in form
- It asks if the person is the primary booker and prevents form completion if not
- This step was designed to reduce confusion for guests filling out the form
Metrics
New widgets for better data tracking 📊
- We’ve added summary rows to help display totals of numbers for certain widgets
- The following widgets are able to be added to dashboards:
- Reservation Financials by Reservation table - shows line-by-line financial breakdown for reservations with check-in during the period
- Net Revenue by Property table - displays total revenue for all reservations with a check-in during the period, taking into account all fees and adjustments
- Guest Details table - provides guest information for accepted reservations during the selected period
Operations
Stay on top of your tasks with automatic reminders 🔔
- Automatically send reminder to teammates the day before tasks are due, with smart timing that skips reminders if tasks are created less than 24 hours before they're scheduled
- You can opt-out of these reminders, and we will manage the message content to ensure consistency and save you time
- Reminders include comprehensive details like same-day turnover status, guest information (count, children, pets), AI summaries, and checklist updates in multiple languages
Accounting
Improved the QuickBooks integration for new properties and owners 📑
- We've made it easier to handle changes to chart of accounts between Hospitable and QuickBooks
- A prompt will now appear on the Business detail page for users to complete the required QuickBooks setup when a new property or owner is added to a business with an existing accounting integration
- QuickBooks Supplier (Owner) is now required for statement-based setups where the property manager receives payouts and pays owners
- QuickBooks Tracking Category (Class) for the property is now required if tracking categories are available on the user's QuickBooks account
Direct
Moved the Taxes menu to the main settings 🗂
- Since we collect and remit taxes for more than just Direct bookings, we’ve moved the Taxes menu from Direct to your main account settings
- The new Taxes menu includes earning reports and tax affidavits

Additional short codes for task reminder 💌
- Use these new short codes to easily track and communicate length of stay for guests
- Use %number_of_days_stay% to automatically display the number of days a guest is staying
- Use %check_out_day_of_week% to show the day of the week a guest will check out
Improved error message when replying to guest reviews 🚫
- When beginning to write to a review for a Booking.com guest that you’ve already reviewed, we’ll notify you to lessen confusion and save time
- The message will let you know you’ve already left a review and that it can be modified by going to the Booking.com Extranet
Airbnb
Add Airbnb links to your property descriptions 🔗
- You can now add links to your property descriptions to increase visibility and cross-promote your properties
- This provides guests with easy access to all your Airbnb listings, improving the overall booking experience for potential guests
