We’re launching something new here in the Community: The Listing Clinic, a weekly series where I take a close look at a few hosts’ listings and record short video replies explaining what might be holding them back—and what changes could unlock more bookings.
Each week, I’ll review 2–3 listings and break down things like:
- Photos, title, and description
- Amenities and positioning
- Review patterns
- Booking trends and guest-experience cues
- Pricing and competition
These are quick, practical checkups designed to give you clear insight into what’s working, what’s not, and where you can improve. Even if your listing isn’t selected, you can still learn a ton from seeing how I evaluate other hosts’ setups.
Here’s how it’ll work:
- Every Thursday, I’ll open a thread where you can drop your listing link.
- On Monday, I’ll randomly pick 2–3 listings from the comments.
- I’ll record short video reviews and share them right in the same thread.
- You can ask follow-up questions, compare notes, and apply the same principles to your own listing.
