ID verification for bank info

I am attempting to connect my bank info but the system repeatedly says the state format is incorrect. I have tried the full name as well as the postal abbreviation but neither works. Any suggestions?

The state format error during bank account setup can happen for a few reasons, so here are some things to try.

For the state field specifically:

  • Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after your entry
  • Try using just the two-letter abbreviation
  • Clear the field completely and re-enter it fresh

General troubleshooting:

  • Double-check that all your personal details exactly match what appears on your bank account
  • Ensure your address information is complete and accurate
  • Try refreshing the page and starting the process again
