We are receiving an error when non-admins attempt to add the hospitable MCP connector to their Claude (no, we aren’t using enterprise yet for various reasons), even though the admin account has already authorized the MCP with claude.

Does anyone know the solve/workaround for this? Thanks!

@ElizMar @lance this is now live! Full-access secondary users on your team can now connect to the Hospitable MCP.

Hi @ElizMar! This is a known limitation right now, as the Hospitable MCP authenticates over OAuth, and OAuth only accepts the primary account owner's credentials. Secondary/teammate users will hit an error. Multi-user OAuth support is on the roadmap but not live yet.

Thank you for the quick response @Petra Podobnik. Do you have a sense of what time in the roadmap? Q2, Second half of 2026, 2027?

I could not find any mention of this limitation in the help article: https://help.hospitable.com/en/articles/14424057-connect-an-ai-agent-to-hospitable-using-mcp

I think we are rather a few weeks away. It will be added to the Help Article once it goes live, and I am sure Nik will announce it here in the Community too. 💜

I want to try and have secondary user permissions/support in MCP this quarter (Q2 2026). Might be by end of May. 🤞

@ElizMar would secondary users with full permissions (admin equivalent) be OK for your use case or are you looking for granularity?

@Nik Logachev Ill take full access if this gets done sooner than later.  I was just trying to do this same exact thing for my Claude teammates.  I’d rather not give everyone my Hospitable login credentials so they can get the MCP server connection.

@Nik Logachev agree that this is a great solution for the short term. In the long term, we’d of course love to have it so that team members can be responsible for reports etc without also having full admin control.

Thank you!

Elizabeth
